Even the hippest among us secretly digs some song that's horribly embarrassing. What's yours?

So many choices. I am the king of embarrassing music, but since I proposed this one I'd better answer the damned thing. Let's see, most horrifying... I'd probably have to go with either of the Fire, Inc. songs off the Streets of Fire soundtrack, "Nowhere Fast" or "Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young". What can I say, I've got a soft spot for Jim Steinman.

What are you most passionate about?

Learning. The moment you stop learning new things, you start to die. Doesn't matter if it's useful, you should spend your life packing your brain to the rafters with knowledge.

So we're all going broke. Think of it as an opportunity for adventure. What will you do when you own nothing but what fits in a duffle bag and you're down to your last hundred bucks?

I've always wanted to sail around the world on a cargo ship, and that would be as good a time as any to hitch a ride.

That weird marble soda you get at the Asian markets that tastes like lychees, in that it always seems like a better idea on the shelf than when you get it home.

Things that make you momentarily shed your thin veneer of cynical sophistication. Go.

That wonderful moment where a skateboarder transitions from "look at me doing this amazingly cool thing" to "I'm about to land on my nuts from thirty feet up" never gets old.

If you could take part in one historical event, what would it be and why?

Caesar's conquest of Alexandria in 48 BC. I'd try to put out the fire that destroyed quite possibly the greatest repository of knowledge in the ancient world.

Comparatively, the spot between a rock and a hard place probably isn't as uncomfortable as either.

Would you rather sleep with Adolf Hitler, or Margaret Thatcher, and why?

Neither. I'd get them both drunk, hook them up, and sell the resulting video to TMZ.

Tell us about the teacher who had the most impact on your life. What did they teach and what did you learn from them?

Several teachers explained to me at a very young age that I was smart enough to figure out what I wanted to do with my own life. That was the most valuable thing I ever learned. Too bad I forgot it until fairly recently.

Tell us about the furry members of your family (pets, not wolf-boys).

Guinea pigs. With the names of Norse deities. I'm a firm believer in the fact that the smaller the animal, the bigger the name it needs to balance things out.

If someone asked to buy your DNA (i.e. sperm/eggs) for 1 million, citing genetic and physical superiority as the reason, would you?

Probably not. I would instead offer them a rock that keeps away tigers for two million, because obviously they're completely and utterly insane.
